Fôr Marimbas was originally a string quartet piece that never made its appearance. Alex reconstructed the material and finished it for the Heartland Marimba Quartet in 2016. His Hungarian background makes its way into the harmony and scale material throughout! The piece is in three movements entitled 'Allegro Con Vivo' 'Interlude' & 'Rondo Perpetuus.' It has it all, and audiences love the dynamism contained within.
